The History

Long ago in the mid 1500's, a strange object fell to the planet. It was said, it was a creature. This creature, upon its arrival on the planet, brought death, chaos, and dismay. The people started to call the creature the Razgriz, demon from the stars. It had fallen in the west, in a country called Kalina. Because of the wide effect the impact had on the country, and it being from as if nowhere, Kalina declared war on its neighboring country of Galfast. After the Great War between the two countries started, the creature disappeared and the name Razgriz became the name given to great warriors. Only the most deadly of warriors would gain the honor of this title.
1573, August; the title of Razgriz was given to a middle aged Galfast swordsman, master of his trait. He was given the title because of his heroism on the battle field during the battle of Kalina peak. He, after defying his commander’s orders, bravely stormed into the Kalina castle on the northern side of the mountain. He single handily took the castle and freed his captured comrades. For his actions, his rank was pulled from headsman to lowerman; but for his act of heroism he was honorably given the title of the demon Razgriz. He held the title for the rest of his live and 15 years after he died.
1609, Middle September; a young man named Grace, clamed the title. He was an assassin, a well trained ninja if you will. He was given the titled for his actions for one man. He walked on to a battlefield, long, with one 3 throwing daggers and his katana. After 13 hours, the man whom hired him came to see a field of red and flesh. The only words the Grace said to the man were, “Where is my payment? The Job is done.” Soon after that event, Grace was known well by all as the Razgriz of Kalina. Grace died 17 years later, holding the title for 8 years after death.
1627, the start of summer time; a very young boy, about 15, earned the title of the Razgriz. It was the first year that gun-powder was used in battle. The young boy was named Mathew Landerlake, a farmer’s son. He volunteered for a mission of great importants to Kalina. There was a Galfast training outpost with a lot of trainees and trainers that might one day be a major threat to Kalina, Mathew’s mission was to blow up the outpost. The mission commander had a gun-powder bomb fitted around Mathew in such a way that it looked like he was a fat young boy. Late in the night, he was sent to the outpost. Once morning rose, he lit the bomb wrapped around him. Before the Galfast’s could flee, the bomb blow up the supple area and shortly, the whole outpost was destroyed. 374 enemy deaths were confirmed in the ruins of the outpost. There was no sign of Mathew; at that point he was given the honor of the title of Razgriz. He didn’t keep it long after that.
1631, shortly before the snows of winter started to melt; a man by the name of William Tobias Josturn, clamed the title of Razgriz. William, a believer, believed that he was the greatest assassin ever born. He gained the title for his horrific act toward the people he so violently slaughtered. His victims ranged form Soldiers to towns foke, priests to woman and children. The deaths recorded in his detailed journal were 420. William died as the age of 47, he also held the Razgriz title for the longest; 18 years.
1650, March; a young swordswoman, gained the title for her bravery in defending the king of Kalina. During a Galfast raid on Nibeling, the home of King Maxter of Kalina; Kathryn, one of the Secret knights of the kingdom, protected the king from over 37 Galfast soldiers. After the battle was over, Kathryn became the first female royal bodyguard for the king and queen of Kalina. She died honorable in the line of duty, protecting the king and queen with her life. Kathryn passed the title of Razgriz to the next female bodyguard.
Form 1653 to 17 87, the title of Razgriz stayed the title given to Royal bodyguard; but only those of female gender. When the great grandson of King Maxter, became king, he gave the female bodyguards the title of Battle-Maiden.
1802, May; the time of weapons capable of firing rapidly and with longer range. This point in history gave birth to assault weapons; and therefore, better soldiers to gain the title of Razgriz.
1803, March 22nd; a squad of five elite fighters in Galfast’s army gained the title of Razgriz for being the best special operations unit. The squad, though members changed, kept the title for almost 50 years; but on August 30th, 1847 the squad changed their title to “Hell’s Hounds”.
1857, June; the whole world shook at a large explosion in the forest near Frayia, a small city in the country of Galfast. It was said that Kalina used a bomb of some kind, but most believe it was the demon of Razgriz; back to cuase chaos. That is when the wrath of the demon started to be noticed. The title of Razgriz, though the demon made its self known, continued to be passed onward.
1862, August 5th; 22:14(or 10:14 PM), the first vehicle able for aerial combat was designed and produced by Kalina. It was a flying fortress, a bomber and gunship. With this weapon, Kalina hoped to place an end to the now 362 year long war. August 14th, Galfast spies up-tained design plans and created their own bomber/gunship. 1875, Galfast designed the first fighter plane;  they called it the “Fire-Wasp”, or the FV-62. Shortly after, Kalina designed a counter fighter plane called the VF-04 “Banker”. This started the era of Aces. Only one can be known as the Razgriz.
1912, July 10th; the Emperor of Galfast sent a message to the President of Kalina, asking for a peace-talks meeting in the small neighboring country Valstaph. Valstaph, being a neutral country, agreed to house the peace-talks. July 11th, 12:14; Emperor Galen’s transport plane crushed on the boarder of Valstaph. No Survivors were found. The escort planes reported that the Emperor’s Plan e was shot down by some kind of ground-to-air rocket. Outraged, the people of Galfast blamed Kalina. Kalina, though not reveal their top secret missile research, stated that their government, people, or Military had nothing to do with the crush. The War continued, after the news released information about Kalina’s secret research form an unknown source.
1923, October 12; 8:34, Kalina started their jet engine research. At 9:10, Galfast started their own research on guided missiles. This was the point were both countries started a Ceasefire command. Therefore, a Cold War started; fought with knowledge and sponge.
1944, it had been almost 100 years since the title of Razgriz was used, and now a new pilot claimed the title. His name was Maximillion Talbet, my father. He was a Galfast Pilot, 21 and just got his first assignments. On a normal portal of the Kalina/Galfast Boarder, he spotted a rather large battle group of Kalina Fighters and Bombers. After he called in the sighting, the battle group crossed the boarder. With this act, Kalina broke the Ceasefire command. Maximillion, after bring cleared for combat status, started to engage the Kalina planes. His first target was the bomber gunships, those were his orders. During the engagement between him and the enemy, a second wave of bomber gunships with escorts started to appear on his radar. He called in the advancing wave, but reinforcement was not available. Kalina didn’t just brake the air space restriction in the north, but all most all a crossed the boarder. With out back-up, Maximillion had no choose but to continue his fight. After 30 minutes, the Kalina strike force retreated due to the lost of their bombers. Maximillion pressured them to the boarder but was then ordered to return to base as a squadron came to relieve him. When Maximillion returned to the base, he was awarded the Winged Cross Medal, the Alpha Bird or more commonly known as the Ace Wings Medal, and the call sign of Razgriz; for being the first Air born Ace in History. He continued to fly in the Galfast Imperial Air Corps, until he met a beautiful woman named Juliana Mazers; my mother. Maximillion retired from the Air Corps at the age of 52 He also held the title until he died at the age of 87.
2011, October 8th at 22:34; a 22 year old pilot fresh out of flight academy, ran away from his home in Galfast. He crossed the boarder into Kalina, and was captured near the town of Bell. When questioned of his nature in Kalina territory, he told them who he was and what he was doing there. His name was Vergal Talbet and told them he was a graduate from Galfast’s elite training academy. He said he was a better pilot then his father. He asked the military interrogator if he would tell the Kalina government that he wanted them to hire him as a black ops mercenary pilot. 6 years, he was held in a prison camp. Then they came for him, the Kalina government finally had an offer and job for Vergal. They told him it was time to prove his legality to Kalina. Vergal agreed and then was given his orders, and the call sign Raven. The orders were to use a captured Galfast fighter Bomber to attack the very training base he was trained at. For a moment, he didn’t appear to like the idea but then he asked how much they’d pay him. He was offered twenty-three thousand credits; he agreed to thirty-eight thousand and took the job. He took-off from a boarder base called Condor Prime, and then headed for the training academy. He knew the base well and also knew the amount of pilots and trainees. Knowing all this, he continued. The Nav-beaken let him get right up to the base. Once the Galfast noticed he wasn’t replying to their radar calls, they sounded the air-rade siren but it was too late. Vergal started his attack hitting the anti-aircraft emplacements first. Shortly after, he started to attack the hangers and then the barracks. With the limited pay-load of the Galfast Strike Bomber, Vergal was able to destroy enough of the base to make it useless, than headed back to Condor Prime. He returned the bomber and told them he wanted an unmarked fighter on his next mission. When he was de-briefed, he gave his report of the damage he caused. Shocked by how heartless his actions, they sent a scout to confirm the damage. Once the scout returned to the base, Vergal was upgraded to the call sign Razgriz. With the new title, Vergal asked for a custom fighter. Kalina agreed to his requests. They made him the F-407 “Blade-Hawk”. 2021, August 12th; Vergal, I mean myself, is now 30 and still flying for Kalina. Now its’ time to tell you my story, pay attention to my words.
